The Luggate Boulders

Only six of us walked today.  The forecast was for wind gusts of up to 120 km per hour.  It was blowing so hard when we started the walk at the Luggate Boulders that it was difficult to walk a straight line never mind keep steady enough to take a photo!  It wasn’t  so bad as we dropped down to the river and walked upstream to the Devil’s Nook.  There were branches down over the track, some quite large.  The Kanuka and wild flowers were so pretty there are three extras.  A great day.
