MM - Rhymes with blessed

Nearly 10 years ago I did an Art Foundation Course. We were given a pre course project to create a luxury item. I choose a bed (rhymes with bless-ed) - one of those fancy strung round ones found perhaps on a paradise island.
As my piece unfolded it became a nest (rhymes with blessed) and symbolically a crucible in which to incubate my art, with a small glass tea light holder cradling the light picked up at a car boot sale held at the centre.
The body is a crab pot picked up on the beach at Bridlington. It had a heavy concrete bottom - and after J had lugged it some distance to the car I knew I was going to have to do something with it!
It’s not the most beautiful thing I’ve made but in terms of working with the unfolding process it’s one of the most satisfying. And how pleasing that it should rhyme with blessed both ways!
Not done much after finishing work this morning - a walk to the priority post box with the PCR test - sometimes doing very little feels like a good option!
