Casualty in the Chemist

This dear little Joey found itself to be the centre of attention in the chemist shop in Blackheath today.  Everyone was all masked up and it was only after I started up a conversation with the Joey’s carer that I realised I knew her.  Victoria lives on the other arm of Shipley Plateau and was seeking advice from the Martin the owner of the pharmacy.  I pointed her in the direction of my friend Anna who lives in the Kanimbla Valley and is a genius when it comes to caring for injured wildlife.  It was only when I looked at my image tonight that I noticed the sign in the background.  No, this little Joey didn’t need a Covid Test, just a lot of TLC I reckon :)
