All that glitters!

It doesn’t happen all that often but when it does it’s quite a spectacle.  I’m actually not sure what these flying insects are but they seem to come around every now and then and decide to all end their lives in the Billabong.  I only had my iPhone with me but managed to get a half decent shot.  They remind me of a Marcasite brooch like my dear Mum used to wear.
