Blackcurrant Bud.

Another dull day but look what dull and lack of sunshine does to this humble blackcurrant bud.  Allotment walk today,  ground still damp and a bit mucky but not as grimy as the much used seafront promenade from yesterday's walk which left Ginny needing a bath.  Although she had muddy paws today it was good healthy mud and brushed off easily.  On my neighbour's allotment this blackcurrant bush was bristling with buds poised ready to burst at first breath of Spring. The colours look unnatural but the shot was hardly touched and mostly straight out of camera.
