Catnip crazy

One cat is not in the slightest bit bothered by catnip.

Sparky, however, goes crazy for it. Rolls on the floor in some sort of ecstatic writhing joyful kitty heaven. Then he crashes out like a drunk, sleeping off a bender.

We are trying to stop him from scratching our office chairs and the sofa. Hence a scratching post with some catnip. Sparky went straight for it. He is a convert so far. When I know that he has transferred his affection permanently, then I will get new chairs.

Walked to the shops and got a coffee with mum this afternoon. Got a couple of books. Felt guilty for mum having to carry everything back.

Am suffering with some pains this evening, which is annoying, but par for the course. Have had to take painkillers today.
