Grand Say Out
True to his word, The Boy was up for playing ‘Joe Le Taxi’. His timing was perfect and he git me to Derriford just before midday and entertained himself in the restaurant while I was in Immunology.
A consultant this time, very lovely, very reassuring and very happy to give a diagnosis. Urticarial Vasculitis but Category 1 which is the best one to have if you have to have it. He then drained my right arm of all it’s blood for a gazillion tests, including a special one that needed 2 minders and a special flask! Hopefully it will get where it needs to go as he wasn’t sure how the labels go on the bottles - he did say he normally has other people to do blood tests for him :-D. Next appointment in early January unless anything shows up in the tests.
On to Wagamama’s which is apparently the going rate for a taxi to and from Derriford. Given it’s location, it was rude not to catch the Torpoint Ferry back in to Cornwall - the Boy even smiled at this point!
Finally, a visit to big Trago - first time for The Boy. I don’t think he’ll be heading back in a rush….
