The solstice day.

Close to where I live is Danebury Hill Fort an iron age fort which has some commanding views.

I feel a connection with the earth and with tradition so I decided to watch the sun come up from there.

As you can see it was cloudy and the sun was not visible but it felt right to be there.

The rest of the day was spent in preparation for the big day and that has made me feel much more comfortable.

As the light was going I went back to the hillside to watch it leave, the other extras show that.
