We made it!

Pinching ourselves after a surprisingly trouble-free journey, All three trains were on time, which is already a highly unusual experience for me. No bother at the border, apart from having to shuffle our massive piles of paperwork to find the right bits. The Eurostar arrived early, giving us plenty of time to get our day 2 tests at the very efficient testing centre in St Pancras and then walk over to Kings Cross, for a fast, clean, comfortable and almost empty train to Darlington where R and H were waiting to pick us up. A celebratory Edinburgh G&T on the train was delicious and most welcome.

So here is my contribution to the many blips of this roof, which I have never seen in person before. Two years since I last set foot in the UK.
