New on the tree
Time to share my new acquisitions on the this tree this year, in addition to the Bethlehem bauble from St Paul’s Cathedral.
The shiny red globe has Worth Valley written on it ( and is reflecting me with the camera!) which is a big clue to it’s origin. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway are the ones who ran the Elf Express which we took with our family at the end of last month. Both families were given a lovely shiny red bauble as a souvenir of our fun journey so of course it has found a place on our tree. No doubt the other one is on Eda and Jude’s tree.
No need to explain the other two additions. A naughty purchase from Anthropologie back in Autumn when I was in Bath. Naughty because I had bought last year’s edition on line -
last year - but who could resist these initialled little felt treasures! (It has to be said I could have bought much more dangerous items in there!)
Chris picked up the M&S Christmas order this morning straight after his hair appt as both are in Guiseley, he even took his hairdresser’s wife to pick up hers. No queuing or waiting at all.
I got stuck into some food preparation and then, when he got home, trying to find space for everything in the fridge and freezer. Why is it that a this time of year you have a fridge and freezer full and nothing to eat for your lunch?
Seeing a few friends for early drinks shortly before the pub gets busy for the Christmas quiz.
Not long to go now!
