Beauty on the Doorstep

Took two photos today and they both looked like this, so an easy choice for once. Been feeling quite rotten from the two vaccinations yesterday, and will definitely take paracetamol before bed to see if I can sleep better.

Forced myself to do a wash as the sun was making an attempt at shining and we were getting quite low on underwear! It all dried, which is wonderful.

Also forced myself to clean and tidy as the vet was coming to give the cats oral anti-inflammatories and injected antibiotics, and to see how they were. I asked him about the difference between how they do it here and how it seems they do it in the UK. He prefers to do a hysterectomy so there's no chance of the uterus getting infected, and to do it when they're full size, as there's some evidence that doing it when they're small affects their development. For street cats, however, he's happy to just snip the tubes at whatever age they find them.
