Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Oh no! Not the Christmas decorations…

A bit of a nothing day. Though I did go and have an MRI scan later in the afternoon, and I’ve been waiting for that for a couple of years, so that’s good news. Actually, 5.30pm is a good time to go to the hospital - not busy at all, and the traffic was light.

Christine popped in for a visit in the morning, minus wee Dougal. He has to learn to stay at home on his own for a while. And anyway, Archie would not exactly welcome him…

Actually, I did get a good job done. Hazel showed me last night the (Scotland) NHS Covid app - I’ve just been using the NHS website, which shows our Covid status, and I’ve had a printed copy from them. But we really need our Covid status QR code on our phone, I suppose, in case we want to go to a concert, or a night club… NOT. This involved scanning passports and doing face recognition. But a good job done. When JR came back from her walk she also did it.

Archie agreed to pose for a festive photo. He didn’t agree to look happy doing it though…
