Trees Up

Phew! A full on day. Up early and shopping done in surprisingly quiet shops. Just a few bits and bobs left to get. 

Then a trip to a local farm who grows his own trees. Being late in the day he was only cutting on request. He told us that he has a big order in Halifax but that has to be delivered in November. At least being late this year needle drop should not be a problem. These decorations are sold in aid of St. Catherine’s Hospice in Scarborough. I love the little Robin.

The day rounded off with a mushroom Risotto. Made for 6 consumed by 4. The young men polishing off the extras! My Mum would say better to keep for a week than a fortnight! Her family had sayings for every occasion.
