Someone did not read the E-mail

Yesterday was the shortest day in the northern bits of the globe. Days start to get longer, nights shorter.
I realised when I got up this morning that nobody has told the sun about this; I was certainly up before he was. Hopefully his performance will improve over the coming weeks.
We are off to daughter ones tomorrow so there will be blip silence for a week or so. Hope everyone has a great Christmas and the New Year will be better
