In Waiting

The tree’s been moved from a bucket of water to its proper stand where it’ll have a couple of weeks of splendour before being unceremoniously chucked out the window.
Golf this morning; pretty cold, pretty muddy but also pretty quick. A quick dive into the nearest supermarket on the way home and I was stocked up on cinnamon sticks, critical at this time of year. Meant I could make tomorrow’s dinner ahead of time and let it mature. Then a trip to the fishmonger and we were all set, with the added bonus of cod-roe for todays lunch. Excellent!
Sitting here watching Die Hard, voted the #2 Christmas film of all time apparently. I think I know it off by heart!
