Bird on a wire

Did telephone wires get thicker at some point? Or have birds got very small.

Anyway, quick snap outside the drycleaners.

Another unnecessarily busy day. We're off tomorrow for our wedding anniversary weekend. Every year (this'll be......errr...9) we've had a weekend away - just the two of us. This year all our regular babysitters have mysterious and (I suspect) hastily arranged engagements so we're taking the kids with us. Unfortunately, Mr B had booked the fancy pants hotel for Saturday night before he knew the kids would be accompanying us... We're bribing them to behave well!

We had planned to do a bit of camping afterwards, but I fear the weather forecast may be against us. So, I will be back on blip some time between Sunday and Tuesday either full of joy about a wonderful weekend exploring the SW Highlands.... or full of cold and misery.
