Dunstable might not be so bad afterall
Despite the fact that being home this holiday is entailing doing more Uni work that actual "holiday-ing" (Welcome to 3rd year), I'm still finding it amazing being home (And rinsing all these home comforts...Wow, what is this, the heating is allowed to be on for more than 2 hours a day?!)
Finally got my hair cut today... it was last done before Christmas I think, so it was long overdue.
Nicola came over for a few hours this afternoon...I'd love to say we spent the afternoon enjoying the sun and drinking cocktails...However, we were both sat doing Uni work. At least it was less mind numbing being sat together, and of course there was time for some gossip and jaffa cakes.
Got dinner and a well-earned pint with my parents, grandma, and uncle which was lovely. It isn't often I get to see my family, with us all living in different places.
This photo is taken from a place where I live called the "Dunstable Downs". The sun was setting behind the clouds, which is a rare sight if you think how bad the weather has been recently. It was bloody freezing though. Ryan lives at the foothills of this place, so I went over and stayed at his after getting the sunset photo.
We certainly didn't watch more Breaking Bad... And certainly didn't eat more chocolate cake...
