Pictured above: meet my mum (others call her Amanda).

Mum and I were finally able to make it out for a day in London today. This is big as it means mum is finally getting back to her fine old self after the op. This was such a treat for us, and a real mile stone for mum!

Took a lot of photos today, but chose this one as mum looks so happy. DAMN THAT BLOODY VAN in the background, but hey, the lull in the Regent street pedestrians wasn't going to last forever. Took the chance whilst we had it, so it'll have to do... Unless anyone happens to be a photoshop pro who can erase/mask/blur the van out of existence?!

A lot of fun was had today: We took on Camden and Oxford street, treated ourselves to some yummy food, enjoyed Mojitos in Leicester Square and wandered around Covent Garden. All whilst it was snowing. Snow in April, what is that all about?!

Now off to Ryan's for the evening... I wonder if today is the day we will finish Breaking Bad?!
