Bubble Trouble

Today has been a lovely family day.  We watched Finn helped to open his presents.  We adults exchanged gifts and after the daughter saying this was a less is more Christmas, she did do some last minute shopping and everyone was happy with their gifts.  Part of Finns present was a battery operated bubble machine.  The adults loved it but Finn sat on the grass and cried.  Sam picked him up and he was comfortable observing from a distance.  I think I need one for the blip opportunities it could provide. 
The oven worked enough to cook the lamb but I think it will be BBQ meals from now until an electrician can come and see to it.  Time to relax now and lie horizontal to help digest dinner.
