Bridge at Dunkeld

The bridge at Dunkeld over the Tay is a major feat of engineering from the 19th century.
Built by the one and only Thomas Telford it is around 200 metres long and has 7 spans. It is a magnificent entrance to the town.
Telford was responsible for around 1000 bridges and hundreds of miles of roads. Not bad for a shepherd's son!
This is Macbeth country and well worth a visit if you're ever in the area!
