New reality day 515

This is lake Saimaa right after those trees. Doesn't look much now covered in ice, but it's pretty damn beautiful in the summer.

It's been -20°C all day long. The dogs can't walk longer than 20 minutes. That's a shame as it's such pretty area and there are paths along the lake. Well, my husband also started to freeze his toes, so... :-)

Today we went to the spa this morning. There's a spa and a special sauna world. We visited the sauna world 3 times and I did one racing slide, but did not want to test the tube slide. Which was good as it went outside for a bit.

After spa we took take away from a restaurant and ate at the house. Then it was time to take the dogs out again. Another 20 minutes and we were all freezing. The wind blowing across the lake (biggest lake in Finland) doesn't make it easier to stay outside.

We're home now. We could have stayed another night, but the check out time was at 10 am, so we decided to come home and sleep in our own beds. Also it's 10 degrees warmer here, which is better for the doggy walks. Also we'll have a whole day at home before the working week starts. My week starts on Monday too this week.
