Morning coffee

A nice spot in the window for the first coffee of the day.

But there's a bit of a back story. Being an airport hotel, the windows are all sealed ... to keep out aircraft noise. We noticed that one pane was hinged, But it required some special tool to unlock. In a light bulb moment we tried using a teaspoon handle as the special tool, depressing the locking pin and turning the mechanism a quarter turn. BOOM, the window opened! But to our disappointment, no fresh air because that outer pane is fully sealed.

Never mind, it made for a perfect window seat to enjoy the view from 7th floor. Very nice.
