Odd One Out

Feeling rather out of sorts today.   The negative test says it's some other kind of virus, my nose and face say its infected my sinuses.  :-(    Warmth, rest, meds ... more rest.   Sad to have to stay indoors on what was a bright day but feeling how I do, that was no hardship.

Today Jamie's made a Christmas Cake using his maternal grandma's recipe.   A lovely way to remember someone special.   Ruth has also been busy, more mince pies and some sausage rolls.   It must be teatime!

A seedling Narcissus romieuxii, with some hybrid genes I think given that the other one in flower in this pot is white and twice as tall.  This one is odd in that it has extra ray florets and anthers, a kind of doubling but not actually double the usual number.   Maybe a seasonal mutation that will not be repeated - next year's flower will answer that question.
