When the Gorse is in flower ...

... it's the kissing season.  Or so a girlfriend told me long ago.   Seems gorse is always in flower!

A very late night led to a very long lie in.  Kind of a half day.   So after brunch it was already time for Meg's walk with nothing more than washing up crossed off the list.   Too nice not to have a proper walk - and I have seen the forecast for the next two days :-/    We went to Rhydyronen and walked up the lane, through the gate and into the moorland.   Lots of sniffs for Meg and lots of squirrels to ensure I got towed along!   Leafless trees offer a better sight of them.   The late afternoon light was lovely, occasional shafts of sun, bright bands on the high slopes above us as we walked in the shadow of the valley.  Returning to Rhydy we just caught sight of the last train heading home - extra pic.

A quiet night in planned, hopefully not as late.  A re-run of the turkey dinner my next job but there's the Christmas Pottery Throwdown to look forward to among other entertainment.
