Sunday: Collecting Water

Well, this is the Christmas that keeps on giving.  K went down to the basement today and discovered that the carpet in the corridor was all wet.  In short, we discovered water dripping very heavily from several pipes in the crawlspace.  Everything was quite wet so we put down buckets and pans to catch the worst of it.

We spoke to the letting agents emergency service but, understandably, no-one will come out until we are Covid-free.  So, for now the only answer is to fill pots and pans, and keep the water turned off at the mains, until we absolutely need it.

Oh well, onwards and upwards………
