Monday: Feeding Time

We were invited over to Nicky’s today for a Boxing Day cold buffet grazing kind of day.  Nicky has been here for many years and runs a bird sanctuary.  She currently has about 149 birds and even today was getting calls about birds that needed rescuing.  She does an amazing job.

We had a great day, including playing a highly entertaining card game.  A couple of the birds were inside at various points, including Laura who is in her fifties and spent some time sitting on my shoulder.  Luckily she’d pooped minutes before she got on so I felt I was on safe ground.
