After the rains

It rained heavily overnight and my usual route was flooded this morning.  B/C/I went to spend Boxing Day at her sister’s house which isn’t far from here.  We spent most of the day clearing up!  I managed a long walk at just the right time and caught the late sun flaring over the Downs.  

B and C came back in time for a light supper and we watched AVBS written by my friend Sarah only I’ll have to rewatch it as I fell asleep!  

Reading so much about Desmond Tutu this morning. So many wonderful stories of his life, his words and his influence.   What an inspiration!
