Playing with the wrapping
In time honoured fashion here’s Ivy playing with the wrapping rather than the present although her favourite gift was a Boden box of seven pairs of socks that she loved taking out and putting back and pairing. And occasionally we got a pair on her feet.
Day only slightly marred by my back going again in the morning. Not the sore muscles from falling over but the undermining spasm that can only be cured by the osteopath. Sorry to write about it in detail but it was useful for me to look back to how it played out when it happened in September.
Drove up to London, it’s a long drive to B and C’s flat but I was cold and sunny and rather lovely. Nice to see Boxing Day London haven’t done that for years. I like idly spotting who’s clearly wearing a new present.
We took up some of the lunch and had fun chatting. Cheryl’s father came through briefly and we walked with Ivy to the swings.
Back via the A2 and M25 to a supper of soup and watched Everything, everywhere, all at once. Which was exhausting but clever nonetheless.
