Pressed Daffodil

On yet another day of freezing cold wind,cloud and snow flurries there was no incentive to venture into the great outdoors so I was stuck for something to blip. I then remembered the pressed daffodil I had prepared a couple of weeks ago so popped it onto the lightbox with a silver reflector round the lens to take this image.

I like the transparency of the flower and the way the internal organs can be seen as if in an X-ray .
