Keeping on the party

Fun times were had today again too though only 7 of us this time. We managed a mammoth game of cards although I came last, clearly losing my touch! Here’s my mum and my daughter being daft.

Waved mum and dad away home after another Turkey dinner and settled in front of the telly. I watched ‘The Power of the dog’ which has a really compelling performance by Benedict Cumberbatch and is beautifully shot. Critics say it’s a bit slow but I actually found it really good, although I wouldn’t call it an enjoyable watch (I kept waiting for bad things to happen!)
