Ice in the harbour

Rare to see ice formed in the harbour. We made a quick trip to town and I had to stop to take a photo of the ice. I enhanced the colours and it reminds me a bit of one of Monet's water lillies paintings. Very cold outside, minus 7c when we went out but with the wind chill, it feels much colder. Nothing like where we lived up north. Much of western Canada is experiencing record breaking cold temperatures. What a year of weather we've had!
Most of the day we had very light snow but it's picked up and is snowing quite heavily again. Our road was plowed and the main road was in good shape. We don't have to go anywhere - unless we feel like going out.  :-)
