Donnington Castle.

Today on the way home from Andover I made a very quick stop at Donnington Castle, just outside Newbury. Only quick as there was an icy wind blowing! The gatehouse seen here was built in the 1380's, so has stood the test of time pretty well! It is a beautiful spot and when the weather is a little more clement the views from here are spectacular.
