Success

Every few weeks I spot a Red-shouldered Hawk in the yard, often perched on the feeder with an eye on the pachysandra below.  I was thrilled to see her there this morning and quickly grabbed my camera, which fortunately was already equipped with the 600mm lens.  This is through the window and handheld but I think it still captures the beauty of this magnificent bird.  It looks like a mole in her talons.  A shot of her before spotting breakfast is in extras.
