Cyclamen

Cyclamen is another star winter flower - I've been seeing a lot of them on balconies and in planters in people's front gardens in the area where I live. 

I've had this one for a few years. I initially got it from my local supermarket as an indoor flower arrangement and planted it out in our back garden once the flowers had died out. It's been very happy there (in a shady position) ever since. 

I'm now considering moving it to a sunnier position on the plot where it would probably do much better.

Cyclamens were one of my grandmother's favourite flower. She liked the pink ones though, I prefer the red and white ones.
