Shawlands Kirk in the Sunshine

It's been a bit of a day. This was taken late afternoon as I dashed up to Shawlands. It's been cold and windy, but we've enjoyed some blue sky and I got two loads of washing out to dry.

Again I wonder what the tower on the roof is. For ventilation perhaps? I don't think it's a bell tower.

Looking forward to a treat though, I'm having dinner cooked for me ... delicious smells are wafting up from the kitchen as I post my entry. I am trying to think positively right now.
