Boats On The Parrett
Despite the weather looking a bit iffy, we headed over to Burnham this morning for a walk along the banks of the River Parrett and along the beach as far as the lighthouse see (extra). By the time we’d got that far, the wind began to blow the clouds away.
Having stopped for a bacon and sausage bap and a coffee at the seafront cafe, the sun was casting a beautiful glow on the water and boats at the river mouth. A landscape with water for today’s challenge.
This afternoon we did the final post Christmas sorting and tidying and I cooked the obligatory turkey curry, albeit a new recipe Tess had found, with aubergines and coconut milk. Very tasty
