The Birthday Bunch

We did make it to a sandy port yesterday on my birthday.  Spent some time walking around Southport (about 40 minutes away).  Little fishing village turned tourist spot with lots of shops and restaurants.  It was a beautiful day at home but again the fog had rolled in at the coast.

Jessica, my niece and her daughters Jordan and Lily came bearing a decadent chocolate cake with chocolate ganache.  Art, Jess' husband was the picture taker and Jon was at home working and keeping Myles company.  We had a great day and a sleepover too with one more beach visit on Wednesday.  Looking forward to the next visit already.
