Junco

The only picture I took today.  I'm still amazed that these little things can survive in the brutal cold spell we've been having.  There are hummingbirds darting around too.  I'm not brave enough to wait outside to catch one flying by.  The water is frozen over so no ducks or geese are around.  We're expecting more snow and more temperatures around 10 degrees for the next few days.  We're so spoiled in this part of the country because it's most unusual for us to have this kind of weather for this long.  We rarely have to think of things like shoveling walkways or freezing pipes.  Looks like we'll get a taste of both this year.
