Lake Cowan Causeway

“Forsooth, Lake Cowan is dry!” exclaimed the Silverback.
(Excellent thought I, a chance to practice my old English!)

“Indeed my Liege, doth thou know why?” I asked.
“Indeed I do young hound. Such knowledge I have at my command”. sez he.

“Pray my Liege, wouldst though share your knowledge with thy faithful servant? Why is yonder lake so dry?”

Verily on a roll here, thought I.

“Because my faithful hound, yonder lake containeth no water!” he proclaimed triumphantly!

Sometimes, I doth think my talents wasted here! (thought I, to myself)
