Rain, Rain....Wash Away the Snow

And it did! There's just little patches of snow left in the deep shade. It was snowing this morning when we awoke and by the time I got downstairs it was dark enough that the lights on the tree outside our kitchen window were still lit. They turn on at dusk and off at dawn. I raced outside to capture this perhaps last wintery shot of snow and lights....and five minutes later the lights were off. 

I booked my flight to Iceland for next September. Energia and I are planning an epic adventure! I'm super excited!

I have the grandkids this afternoon - we're going to see "Lightopia" shortly - an "illuminated journey" through the local stadium. It's a little cheesy, but the kids love it. So it's been a busy day!
