Napoleon as Salesman

This is an image from a wonderful exhibition on the history of France in advertising (L'Histoire de France racontée par la publicité). It's at the Bibliotheque Forney, near the Pont Marie, where we have seen excellent shows of this general sort in the past. It's organized mostly around historical persons who have appeared in advertisements--lots of fun!

I made a quick dash to see the exhibition--Marylee couldn't accompany because we're getting ready to head home tomorrow--two days in Brussels on the way.
