The photographer
Today's forecast was for more of the same but, fortunately, they got it wrong! We set out late morning on a circular walk from the flat to Carey Burn Bridge. Not long afterwards the thick cloud layer dispersed and for most of the way we walked under a blue sky. It was glorious! Slabs of Christmas cake and satsumas for 'lunch' half way round. Not until we were almost back did the weather clag in again. An enjoyable day, and the furthest I've walked in a while, 12.75km!
Home in time for tea and crumpets with jam before taking Tom to Berwick station for his train home. Sad that he has to leave so soon, but he's working at the theatre in Wakefield tomorrow.
