Blickling Tower

Happy New Year to my fellow blippers!  Here's hoping 2022 is the start of a healthier and happier year for us all.

B and I went to NT Blickling this morning for a New Year's Day walk.  It was very busy but once walking we left a lot of the crowds behind.  It was great to see some sunshine and blue sky.  We seem to have had more than our fair share of gloomy and wet days recently.

This is Blickling Tower, a prospect tower, built by Thomas and William Ivory in 1773, and converted into a house in the late 19th century. The tower overlooks a nearby racecourse, created in the late 18th century.  The tower is now a holiday rental.
