Pruning the cycad

Masks are mandatory everywhere again now in QLD, and so at church we had to have them on throughout. Got a bit spoiled there for a bit since we’ve been back in Oz!

Today was a mostly sunny, hot day. And more like a normal summer’s day here.

Martin had planned to prune the cycads right back today, and here’s a pic of him and Jon at it. We have loads of cycads in our front and back gardens, so many of the pups actually got thrown away, while a few might be re-planted..

We went to out to dinner at our friend’s at Noosa Springs. Their home overlooks Lake Weyba and we enjoyed seeing a body of water from a home again. We do miss our view from our flat in Discovery Bay.
