Glasshouse Mountains

Martin and I visited our niece Jess and her family today before heading to Maleny Botanic Gardens.

We went there back in August, but because it was raining, weren’t able to walk through the gardens, but today we got to do just that. Thankfully it was overcast most of the time, which made it very pleasant.

Then onto Maleny itself for a bite to eat. Lots of restaurants were still closed for NY, but we did find a pie shop. In fact lots of pie shops were open.

Back home and we blitzed the house and the outside as well … taking all the Christmas decorations down. Always a rather sad time when that happens … but less stress with not having to worry about the cats and the Christmas tree. They’ve actually been quite good, but the bottom row of branches definitely got rearranged a few times as they pulled baubles off!!!

Back to work tomorrow … and I’m looking forward to it.
