Lord's Seat

Sunshine!

We should really have stayed at home to tackle some domestic stuff ready to start work again on the bedroom. But we couldn't resist going out...

MrM drove us through Alwinton for a walk up past the trig point on Green Side, and on to the cairn on the top of Lord's Seat. A nice easy walk for the most part, in glorious sunshine, though it was a bit breezy to say the least! When particularly strong gust of wind tore the map from my hands, it was a good excuse to demonstrate that I can still run (extra)! I did catch the map!

As we paused for a short while beyond the cairn for lunch, the cloud came down and the weather clagged in. It was getting late by then, so we decided to go down to the van the same way. A lovely walk to blow the cobwebs away!
