A waiting game

Today my Mum and brother arrived in Japan! I took the overnight bus to Osaka to meet them at the airport, name card in hand (as you can see here). Unfortunately, things didn't go quite to plan...

The bus being two hours late, I was in a tizz as I rushed to catch my train to the airport. As it pulled into the final stop, a dawning and horrible realisation came over me that I had arrived not at Kansai International Airport, where my family was waiting, but Osaka International, now renamed 'Itami Airport', and confusingly a solely domestic terminal. Grrr!

To cut a long story short, I spent the next two hours waiting for Mum and Luke in Osaka main train station. What a joyful reunion that finally was!
