Bridging the Gap

Enough sloth. Out for a walk- along the front to the North Fort Street bridge. The council recently decided to close it to pedestrians (it’s been closed to traffic for years) due to unspecified structural issues. The locals seems to have removed the fences and have scarily continued using it. What are they like! 
Later, a film - Don’t Look Up, a baggy mess of a film. The obvious satire is on our culture with its slavish following of trivia and celebrity while the earth hurtles to destruction. The less obvious, but far more effective satire, is on the US making films where the US President calls the shots and the world stops to listen. 
As we all know, since COP26 it's been Scotland leading the world. Move over, sleepy Joe!
