Conwy
I set the alarm this morning as I wanted to go to Llyn Padarn in Snowdonia for sunrise, but unfortunately when I checked the forecast, the weather there wasn't looking very good. But as we were awake we decided to get up anyway and drove to the Great Orme in Bertie. It was very windy - about 40 mph, and I got blown about when I went out to take some photos. Alan put the kettle on while I was gone and we had a hot chocolate and brioche for breakfast when I got back.
After our trip to Conwy got rained off yesterday, we decided to go back today as the weather was beautiful. We strolled around the town and part of the castle walls and then got some chips and went and sat at the harbour to eat them, whilst watching out for pesky seagulls! There were two that watched us closely, but didn't attack us, so we gave them some bits when we'd finished.
Finally, we stopped off in Llandudno as we wanted to go back to Mountain Warehouse - Alan was looking for waterproof trousers and I wanted to some new waterproof walking boots, which I managed to get in the sale.
We're both tired tonight after our early start, so I think it'll be an early night - Alan's back to work tomorrow.
