2022 Sunday — A Bookstore Visit

The Christmas rush is over and the crowd in the bookstore at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills has diminished significantly. We were in the bookstore just after the 3:30 p.m. service had started.

It was truly delightful to have the bookstore clerks all to ourselves. We needed to talk to them about finding the app that reads the new “One Year Bible” that we’ve just started on January 1. The girls behind the counter were very helpful.

Of course we bought a couple more books while we were there and Mr. Fun bought a new book cover to keep his new Bible in. I’ve had a book addiction for 40+ years; I love bookstores and this one is very satisfying.

The Christmas tree is in the church foyer. I’m sure it won’t be there next time, so I was thrilled to get a photo while no one was beside it.
